Cold fingers and toes can bring outdoor play to an early end. Our Children’s Hand & Foot Warmers are made from wild beaver fur to help hold your child’s own body warmth close.
Each set includes four warmers:
- 2 regular warmers for hands
- 2 slimmer warmers for feet
The Hand Warmers tuck inside mittens or gloves. The slimmer Foot Warmers sit on top of the toes inside socks and boots.
Beaver fur has kept people warm in the North for generations. Dënesųłiné people have long understood its remarkable insulating qualities. The dense underfur traps warm air naturally — no batteries, chemicals or disposable heating packs.

Material
Sheared wild beaver fur has exceptionally dense, silky-soft underfur that naturally traps warm air close to the body.
Beaver fur is breathable, durable and naturally insulating. We shear it to an optimal height so the warmers fit comfortably inside children’s mittens, socks and boots.
Because the fur is wild, each warmer is naturally unique in colour and texture.
Usage
Hands: Place one regular warmer inside each mitten or glove with the fur side against the skin.
Feet: Place one slim warmer on top of each set of toes, fur side against the foot, then pull a snug sock over it to help hold it in place. A wool-blend sock works especially well.
Aurora Heat warmers do not create heat. The dense beaver fur helps hold your child’s own body warmth close.
Always remove the warmers before laundering socks, mittens or other clothing.

Designed for children up to approximately age 8, depending on hand, foot and footwear size.
Care
We leave space on the leather backing so you can write your child’s name with a permanent marker — useful for daycare, school and outdoor programs.
If the warmers become damp, shake off excess moisture, gently reshape the leather and leave them to air dry naturally on a flat surface.
Give the fur an occasional shake or gentle rub to restore its loft.
Avoid direct heat and contact with lotions, oils and perfumes.
