Cold fingers can bring outdoor play to an early end. Our Children’s Hand Warmers are made from soft wild beaver fur to help hold your child’s own body warmth close inside their mittens or gloves.

The dense underfur naturally traps warm air — no batteries, chemicals or single-use heating packs needed.

Soft, lightweight and reusable, they tuck easily inside children’s mittens and can also be used on top of the toes inside socks and boots.

Material

Sheared wild beaver fur has exceptionally dense, silky-soft underfur that naturally traps warm air close to the body.

Beaver fur is breathable, durable and naturally insulating. We shear it to an optimal height so the warmers fit comfortably inside children’s mittens, gloves and boots.

Each piece of wild fur is naturally unique in colour and texture.

Usage

Place one warmer inside each mitten or glove with the fur side against the skin.

They can also be used as Foot Warmers by placing them on top of the toes inside socks and boots.

Aurora Heat warmers do not generate heat. The dense beaver fur simply helps hold your child’s own body warmth close.

Designed for babies through approximately age 8, depending on the size of the child’s hands, feet and footwear.

Care

We leave space on the leather backing so you can write your child’s name with a permanent marker — especially useful for daycare, school and outdoor programs.

If the warmers become damp, shake off excess moisture, gently reshape the leather and allow them to air dry naturally on a flat surface.

Give the fur an occasional gentle rub or shake to restore its loft.

Avoid direct heat and contact with lotions, oils and perfumes.
