Aurora Heat Hand Warmers are made from soft wild beaver fur and designed to sit inside your mittens or gloves, with the fur against your skin.
They don’t create heat. The dense beaver underfur helps hold your own body warmth close, giving your hands an extra layer of natural insulation without batteries, chemicals or disposable heat packs.

Slip them inside your mittens or gloves over the palm or back of your hand. They also work well in pockets. For the best comfort, your mittens or gloves should hold the fur against your hands without making the fit too tight.

Material
Sheared wild beaver fur has exceptionally dense, silky-soft underfur that naturally traps warm air close to the body.
Each warmer is fur on one side with the pelt’s natural leather on the reverse. Beaver fur is breathable, durable and remarkably insulating — qualities that allow beavers to move between cold water and the northern winter environment.
Because we use wild fur, each pair is naturally unique in colour and texture.
Usage
Place one Hand Warmer inside each mitten or glove with the fur against your skin. You can wear them over the palm or back of your hand, depending on what feels most comfortable.
Your mitten or glove should hold the warmer against your hand without flattening the fur. If your gloves are already very tight, choose a slimmer warmer or allow a little more room so the fur can loft and trap warm air.
They can also be carried loose in your pockets.
Aurora Heat warmers do not generate heat. The beaver fur simply helps hold your own body warmth close.
Sizing & Thickness
Small — for smaller hands and mittens 3 x 4 inches
Large — for larger hands and more coverage 3.5 x 5 inches
Slim — a lower-profile option for tighter-fitting mittens or gloves, or for people who want a little less warmth.
Regular — thick and plush, with more fur for greater warmth. Best for mittens or gloves that aren’t already tight.
Care
Take your Hand Warmers out of your mittens or gloves occasionally and allow them to air out flat.
Give the fur a gentle shake, rub or light brushing to restore its loft.
If they become damp, shake off excess moisture, gently reshape the leather and allow them to air dry naturally on a flat surface.
Avoid direct heat and contact with lotions, oils and perfumes.
